Reunion Photo's 26th

All that we can truely say is the old surfer phase that you would get when you showed up and there was no surf, "Man you really missed it, you should of been here yesterday."  You should of been there on the 26th and 27th you really missed it!

Well all we can say right now is there is 1 bad report about the 2007 Reunion, "It was not long enough!" and then the same person said, "It will take 4 weeks for the grin to wear off my face!"

The open house, dinner and speaker's the first night were great.  Admiral Nelson history lesson was very very good.  Master Chief Brown had the crew on their feet when he called them Giants in the motor life boat history.  Mr. Spencer talked about our history and how it touches all Surfman to this day.  Mr. Frederick talked about how the role of the Cape has changed from when we were there.  He also stated that his tour at the Cape is up in 2 weeks and as far as he is consured this tour has and will be the high point of his career.  Nothing can top being at the Cape from SA or FA to CO.  There is nothing like it any where.  We all know how you feel Mr. Frederick!

We have to say the Cape Disappointment Station and Motor Life Boat School Crews out did them selves.  They both welcomed us with open arms and went the extra nautical mile!  We want to thank both units for their extra effort in supporting our Reunion.

Mr. Frederick's Crew did a 21 gun salute and played taps from the Lookout Tower.  To hear the salute and then taps come drifting over the water.  I tell you for a fact there was not a heart that was not touched on any of those boats or for the people that watched from the tower or the interpretive center.  It was very touching for us all.

Mr. Spencer and Crew also did a wounderful job of supporting us also.  We can not thank them enough for all the help and time they gave so freely of.  Both units pushed this Reunion over the top.  We could not of been the sucsess that we were with out their open arm's of suport and assistance.  They were wonderful!

Here are a few photos that have been taken so far.  When I get more down loaded I will put them up!
